We ship to the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe. Our shipping prices are kept as close to the actual cost as possible but we have to pack the item (ferrites, for example, need special care) as well as post it. If you think that the shipping price has been calculated incorrectly, please get in touch before completing your order.

Royal Mail's rates no longer have a 1Kg threshold, so the flat rate for a 1st-Class "Signed-For" item over 2.5cm weighing up to 2Kg is £5.39p. We continue to absorb some of this cost on lighter/smaller orders so the actual price to you will vary by weight. We are not Amazon Prime.

Orders for in-stock items are normally sent within 1 working-day (Mon-Fri) using Royal Mail 1st or 2nd-Class "Signed-For" - prices from £4. You can find out the cost of shipping by adding items to your basket and using the "Estimate Shipping" option to see the available services. A "shipped" notification e-mail is autmatically sent once your order is at the Post Office, usually around 4pm.
The rate is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shopping cart's weight - We automatically send via the safest and quickest means to make the most out of the postage cost (Post Office Rates here). 1st-Class post is not "next day" delivery.
"Signed-For" also means that, if you ask us to, delivery staff can leave the item in a safe place - taking a picture of it for tracking purposes. Please note that if you specifically leave delivery instructions such as "if not in, please leave behind gate or with number 73" then, should the item go missing - it is your responsibility if the package goes missing after proof of delivery.
Orders placed using "bank transfer" will reserve the stock for a maximum of 7 days. In the event that an item is returned as "Address Not Known" or "Not Collected", there will be a further postage charge to re-deliver the item. It is important that you check the accuracy of your address - we copy/paste it for the mailing label. If you wish to have your order sent to an alternative address (such as your workplace), this is fine - just add the address during checkout.
We do not have any collection/demo facilities.
Rest of Europe (inc. Ireland)
Items to International destinations are sent tracked+signed to offer total peace of mind.
Very heavy/bulky items may be sent via UPS if the costings are appropriate. We don't ship enough EU items to get decent "courier" rates (like FedEx, UPS) so our national carrier is used 99% of the time who pass the item to your country's postal service.
We do not ship outside of Europe, sorry.
Customs/VAT, Import Duties and Delayed Items - this is important!
Although we welcome orders from countries within the EU, there is the chance that you may have to pay a Customs Import Fee. We add a customs declaration to all "non-UK" parcels - these are filled out as accurately as possible and, therefore, you may have to pay a customs/import charge your end based on a % value according to your local regulations. There is no VAT on our products - we are not VAT registered.
A 1-3 business day delay at Customs is not uncommon - please blame the 52% who said "no" to all the nice things about the European Union.
Royal Mail deem a 1st-Class item "lost" after 10 working days, an International item due-date+20 working days from posting.
Out of Stock Items
Each item has a stock-level indicator allowing you to see how many we have available. If you see that the item is out of stock, please check the homepage before enquiring as some products have a rapid turnaround. The checkout will NOT let you purchase if we don't have the stock available.
