About Us

Who Are We?
Ham Goodies, operating for over 10 years, is operated by Charlie M0PZT - a Ham since 2001 and into Amateur Radio and electronics since 1992.  An enthusiastic operator, software developer and drinker of strong coffee, he has applied his experiences to help fill a gap in the online Ham "goodies" market.

We are based in North Lincolnshire and operate from a dedicated Workshop/Shack in order to design, build and supply a wide range of products as possible.

What Do We Do?
We offer a variety of bits and pieces for Amateur Radio and electronic hobbyists via online ordering - the majority of our stock is focussed on "Ham" accessories such as Choke Baluns, Ferrites, Portable+QRP plus the odd bit of "tech".

All of our Baluns/Chokes are made in-house using quality parts, eg: Fair-Rite ferrites, stainless-steel fixings, waterpoof enclosures.  We make no secret of what ferrite is inside our boxes so if you're building your own, you can copy our design: We'll gladly sell you the ferrite toroids and/or RG316, RG142. We do have some secrets, so you'll have to decide on a suitable box yourself.  Need advice on a ferrite for a particular task?  Drop us an e-mail and we'll help you out.

Ordering
This site uses secure browsing, so your personal data is safe. Prices are displayed in Pound Sterling.  We use Stripe to (securely) process your payment and all major cards are accepted.  Your payment details are not retained.  In order to save paper, we do not include a paper invoice with your orders - these can be viewed (and printed, if necessary) via your customer area.

Delivery - UK, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man only!
Most orders are normally sent same-day (Mon-Fri) if placed before 2pm (unless the order contains a number of custom options that require additional work) - Please see our Delivery page for more information on current rates.  Sorry, but we do not send items outside the UK.

We do not have any collection/demo facilities.

Contacting Us
We don't have a phone number as we can't process orders via phone (or offer advice), so just e-mail us via our contact page.  We generally deal with e-mails during "office hours" of 9am-6pm Monday to Friday and replies outside of these times cannot be guaranteed.
