Who Are We?
Ham Goodies is a web-store operated by M0PZT - a Ham since 2001 and into Amateur Radio and electronics since 1992. An enthusiastic operator, software developer and drinker of strong coffee, he has applied his experiences to help fill a gap in the online Ham "goodies" market.
Please note that Ham Goodies is NOT a full-time business although most orders are sent "same day" (within reason) and e-mails answered as quickly as possible. Please be patient if you require technical help regarding one of the products offered on this website.
What Do We Do?
We offer a range of bits and pieces for Amateur Radio and electronic hobbyists via online ordering - the majority of our stock is focussed on "Ham" accessories, CAT/programming cables, QRP toys and the odd bit of Arduino/Raspberry Pi "tech".
Ordering - UK+Europe sales only
This site uses secure browsing, so your personal data is safe. Prices are displayed in £ Pound Sterling, but there is an € Euro currency switch at the top of each page. We use Nochex as a payment gateway which is a secure (HTTPS) site who handle the transaction. "Nochex" will appear as a payment ID on your bank statement. We do not use PayPal.
Orders for in-stock items placed before 1pm Monday-Friday will typically be sent same-day via your chosen service - Please see our Delivery page for more information on current rates to the UK and Europe. We do not have any collection/demo facilities.
We don't have a phone number as we can't process orders via phone, so just e-mail us via our contact form. Please note that we generally deal with e-mails during "office hours" of 9am-6pm Monday to Friday and replies outside of these times cannot be guaranteed.
Events / Rallies
We sometimes attend local club events and rallies - we limit ourselves to a "sensible" drive but are happy to attend club nights to offer a DMR/FM programming service to members as part of an "ideas exchange" or perhaps a talk on any aspect of our products. All we ask is that we can have some of our items on sale and that the event is well communicated to your members and the local Amateur Radio community. Some of our products make great club projects, like the 2m Slim-Jim, 40m Pixie as well as our Portable offerings.
