RG142 Coaxial Cable

RG142 coaxial cable is serious stuff - despite being the same diameter as RG58 (5mm), it's capable of handling lots of power!  Features a double-screen, PTFE insulator (doesn't melt when soldering) and is perfect for QRO baluns and internal hook-ups in legal-limit amplifiers.  8-12 turns of this on an FT240-31, FT240-43 or FT240-75 Ferrite Toroid make an ideal HF Balun.

We also sell RG316 (3mm dia) for use up to 400w.

This is not a "long run" feeder coax - it's more suited for baluns and short hookups.

Sold in multiples of 1 metre, up to 10m per individual length. eg: Order 3 for a 3m length.  If you order 13, you'll get 1x 10m piece and 1x 3m piece - a single 1m length will allow for up to 12 turns on an FT240 ferrite with approx 10cm tails for connector hookup.
