1:1 μBalun QRP

A 1:1 "micro" Balun for use on HF (best suited for 7-30MHz) for when you're out portable or need a low-impact balun solution.  Although small, it's light enough to mount on a fishing-pole but still able to operate at up to 100w SSB under most conditions.  As it's a Choke Balun, it can also be used with a Doublet/G5RV at the ladder-line/coax junction and even at the feedpoint of a resonant vertical.

B-STOCK OPTION : We have (2) of these Baluns available as a "B-Stock Bargain" item. "Connector not perfectly centre".  If the option above is missing, then they've already been sold and we'll remove this text as soon as possible.

The 2nd picture shows our prototype which had the terminals at the top of the box - along with an Elecraft KX3 for scale.  There is no strain-relief on this Balun, so we suggest using a velcro cable-tie around the BNC connector and your pole - or, loop some cord around the terminals and hang it from a pulley/tree etc.

In the 3rd picture, the parts that make up the unit are shown for information purposes - the balun is NOT a kit, it is ready-built and ready to use.
